This has changed a bit over the years as A Better Routeplanner has evolved. Basically, as we want to cover as many charging locations around the world as possible, we use a mix of data sources. Therefore, chargers can be added to the data sources, which we then import them from.
Here are some ways for users to add chargers to ABRP;
Users can add locations to OSM, and once approved, they’ll appear in ABRP within a day or two. This is useful, especially for non-networked charging locations.
A Swedish charger database. OCM is still our main recommendation.
Tip! If a location in ABRP is fetched from any of the above open-source websites - we’ll display an ‘edit in…’ button at the bottom of the charger details page. Click it and you’ll be taken directly to make updates to the location in the data source.
Some exceptions that cannot and should not* be added to ABRP by users with the above methods
Tesla Superchargers
Allego Chargers
IONITY Chargers
Rivian Chargers
For the above networks, we strictly use other sources. If you see any locations missing or having incorrect status, details, etc. report it via the ‘report charger’ button on the charger details page or by submitting a ticket here;
And we’ll reach out to our data provider so that they can work on getting a connection to the network.

Please remove the charging station called Posto Matelândia Ipiranga immediately. This caused major problems during my trip and almost left me without a place to recharge. This is URGENT.

Hay un cargador de Iberdrola de dos postes (4 coches) en el centro comercial “el Tormes” en Santa Marta de Tormes (Salamanca) en el parking de superficie. Que no están en su aplicación. Desconozco potencia pero se que son de 100kw o más. Y se que funcionan ya que he visto coches enchufados allí.
