Add meal and snack stops near charging stations

It could be useful to add an option for including a “breakfast,” “lunch,” or “snack” stop in the route, ideally in a town or city along the planned journey.

The goal would be to combine this break with a charging stop in order to make better use of the time spent stopping.

For example, when leaving early in the morning, it would be helpful to ask ABRP to schedule a charging stop near a bakery, café, or similar place. This stop could be suggested even if the car does not yet urgently need to charge, for example when the battery level is still around 50–60%.

The route planner could then prioritize a charging station located near the type of venue selected, while minimizing the impact on the overall journey time.
