Add hotel stop to route planner

Feedback

  • Allow user to designate a hotel overnight time/distance variable. For example, calculate automatic hotel stop when traveling more than 24 total hours. Hours travel includes time recharging along the route.

  • Factor in Hotel charger (recommended feature) when selecting stop

  • If changing is not available at selected hotel, route travelers to a charger immediately before hotel stop or after leaving the next morning while minimizing backtracking or loopback.

    Hi @Rod Hammond,

    You should already be able to add a hotel with:

    Add stop → Amenity Search → Hotel

    When the amenity search feature is used, a hotel stop with a charger nearby is proposed.

      The requested feature in the link provided works. I didn't know about the Amenity Search. However, still wondering if It came be enhanced with some parts of my request to make somewhat “smarter” using auto-suggestions built into the planner based on time of day, distanced traveled, or heaven forbid feedback from vehicle sensors this driver needs to rest because they have been lane bouncing for the last 5 miles of a long day.
