ABRP with obd2

Issue description:

When using the app with an OBD2 adapter, everything works fine for the first 30–60 minutes. After that, the connection to the adapter drops and it’s no longer possible to reconnect.

The adapter appears to be working — it’s plugged in, LED lights are on, and it’s not overheating. Even after unplugging and plugging it back in, the app still won’t connect.

If I force disconnect the adapter from the app and then try to connect again, it fails with the attached error message.

Tested setup:

• Tested on two different BMW i3 cars

• Tested with two different phones

• Tested with two different OBD2 adapters — both are models listed under ABRP Recommended Hardware

The problem occurs under all combinations of the above.
