I submitted a bug report en route but I don't know how to refer to it. Why is it so hard? Anyway, I just bought a 2023 Chevy Bolt LT2 and was driving it home from the dealer, about a 200 mile trip. I plugged my phone into the USB port and it connected to the car via Android Auto, which enabled ABRP to read the battery info etc. The Bolt does not display the battery charge % but ABRP did. At my first stop I unplugged the phone and when I came back plugged it back in. Now it was reading the charge as 90%, but I knew it was around 50%. No matter what I did I could not get it to display the correct %. I backed out of the app, closed it, cleared the cache. No improvement. Finally I manually set the charge % based on the approximate display on the Bolt dashboard (which just shows a bar graph, not %). How can I avoid this issue in the future? Seems like EVERY time I used ABRP on a trip I have some kind of huge issue. I've never taken a trip without having an issue (previously with my Leaf).
