ABRP not recalculating route after deviation in Apple CarPlay

Hi everyone, I’m experiencing an issue with ABRP on Apple CarPlay. When I have an active route and deviate from it, the app does not automatically recalculate a new route. I have to stop and restart navigation manually. Is this expected behavior or is there a setting I might be missing? Thanks!

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Hi

    We should recalculate a new route but if you have bad internet connection or no internet connection at all you might don’t get a new route. We try to recalculate several times but we can see if this could be better.

      Hi Linda, thanks for your reply. The thing is, I did have a stable connection at that moment — other apps like Google Maps recalculated instantly when I deviated from the route. It feels like ABRP might be missing some of the adaptive “intelligence” that platforms like Google or even Netflix use to handle changing conditions smoothly. Maybe the recalculation logic could be more dynamic when the user is clearly off-route 🙂
