ABRP not pausing OBD connection when closed screen

I guess there has been an update at ABRP because the when I close the car(BMW) the app still tries to keep the connection - this ends up in the car believing someone is trying to hijack it via the OBD.. It has been working for 4 years without this issue..

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Hi

    We have made the connection better and for some cars there will be more updates. The only way right now to solve the problem is to unlink the OBD when you’re not in the car.

      Just stating that I should unlink sounds as though a bad solution. This is the only connection I have between the app and the car to see SOC and temperature live.

      What I do now is to remove it from the plug.. but that is yeah I can’t write it without writing an f word.

      It has worked for 4 years without any problems…

      I have recommended abrp to all driving IX3 as a good solution. Right now I am wondering if I should cancel my 4 years subscription. I paid even when the software were mediocre..

      But having my alarm running 6 times a day every time I leave the car is more than frustrating!

      And you are aware that our alarms go off every time we leave the car now?
      We are MANY IX3 users that are frustrated.. In my opionion abrp is the reason I still own this car..
