ABRP location not updating in Apple CarPlay split-screen view

Hello ABRP Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with ABRP in Apple CarPlay.

My setup is as follows:

• iPhone 17 Pro

• iOS 26

• Audi Q4 e-tron, model year 2022

• Wireless Apple CarPlay

• Vehicle connected to ABRP via Enode

• ABRP has permanent location access enabled

• Precise location is enabled

• All relevant iPhone privacy and app permissions have been checked

The vehicle connection itself appears to work correctly. I can see the current SOC in ABRP, so the Enode connection seems to be active.

However, when I use ABRP in the Apple CarPlay split-screen view, the navigation arrow and the vehicle/location position do not update. The map seems to stay static. The only live value that updates is the SOC.

To make the live location update in ABRP, I have to either:

• open ABRP once in full-screen mode on Apple CarPlay, or

• actively open the ABRP app on the iPhone.

If ABRP only runs in the background, the live location does not update correctly in the CarPlay split-screen view.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

• reinstalled the ABRP app on my iPhone

• completely deleted all app data and set up the app again from scratch

• deleted the Apple CarPlay connection between the iPhone and the vehicle

• re-established the Apple CarPlay connection completely

• checked all relevant location, privacy, and app permissions on the iPhone

Unfortunately, the issue still persists.

Could you please check whether this is a known issue with ABRP, iOS 26, wireless CarPlay, or the CarPlay split-screen mode?
