ABRP frequently hangs on splash screen using Android Auto
Starting one or two updates back, ABRP hangs displaying the splash screen on the in-vehicle display when using android auto. Force closing the app on the phone and reconnecting to Android auto solves the issue for that moment.

This is a real nuisance as-in so much so I really don’t want to use ABRP if It’s going to “hog” my android screen and refuse to close out without going through hoops. Imagine having to pull over and cuss for awhile just to get it to close out which any other app does smoothly.

Thanks for reporting - we have noticed this a couple of times too and we will try to reproduce it. Let us know if you can reliable trigger the issue.

I will pay closer attention and report any pattern I can discern. The only insight I have at the moment is that it happens mostly in the middle of a multi-stop trip. When I initially turn on the truck and connect my phone to Android Auto, it does not happen. But when I stop for an errand, leave the truck on and take the phone with me out of the vehicle for a few minutes, then return and reconnect, it is most likely to happen. So disconnect/reconnect my phone to Android Auto without a key cycle on the vehicle. Not a conclusive case, but I will try to be more precise in my record of travel today.
