ABRP Does Not Route to Destination Address

It is common for ABRP to “rewrite” the destination to a spot that is near the actual destination, but that is quite wrong in the “real world.” Some example destinations:

• Gray Lumber Company, 3800 6th Avenue, Tacoma, WA, USA – rather than directing you into the parking lot at the address on 6th Avenue, you are sent past the entrance on 6th Avenue to South Adams Street, a side street to the east of the actual location.

• Summit Veterinary Referral Center, 2505 S 80th St, Tacoma, WA, USA – the destination you are directed to is on the back of the building rather than to the actual entrance on 80th street. Coming from the west, ABRP actually tries to route you through a parking lot that is gated.

• South Sound Endodontics, 2424 Mildred St W, University Place, WA, USA – this appears to be routed correctly, now, but when I went there about a year ago the route guidance ended approximately at 47.23796, -122.52638. Note that the actual entrance is off of 24th Street West, even though the address is on Mildred.
