ABRP crashes when starting a route on Android Auto
With the Peugeot E5008 I can start the app and get it on the car’s screen via android auto. Everything seems to work in the app except when you plan a route and want to start driving. Then the app crashes continously until you cancel the planned route on the app on your phone (adroid).
Any solutions for this?

Thank for reporting! We will take a look at this one, in the meantime you could try our beta version of the app, where we are working on the new AA implementation.

Joined the beta program - just tried it but so far no improvement.

Hey,
that log indicates you are still on 6.0.2, when you join the beta you can update only after a few minutes after joining. Please check again if you can update. Latest version is 6.1.0 on beta.

Indeed I still needed to upgrade - did that during my holiday and then it worked. Only had 1 big crash (stop car - reboot phone to get everything working again)
I found it quite difficult to use ABRP via carplay though. The app seems more tailored to be used on a carplay system that has a higher screen. The Peugeot E5008 has a wide screen but not so tall. With google maps the map is tilted more in 3D style so you can still see where your going. With ABRP it just showed an arrow and the line of the street where you were driving - hard to get an overview unless you switch to the trip overview but then you miss out on the details. In the end I planned using ABRP and sent the route to google maps to use it in the car. That worked.
