ABRP App crashes on launch in Polestar 2 2022 LRDM.
Can't keep app open long enough to get version number, but its the latest available in the PlayStore in my Polestar 2 as of (04/08/2025) (dd/mm/yyyy)
Since updating the app, now when i attempt to open ABRP on the infotainment system on my P*2 LRDM, it almost immediately crashes and dumps me back at the "home" screen. I have attempted emptying the cache, clearing the apps stored data, restarting the infotainment system, and un-installing/re-installing, but to no aval.
Kind regards Rich

Does this new version 7.0.0 solves this issue with polestar 2 app?

I have this issue with last version (downloaded the it today). Install, reinstall, clear cache, force stop and nothing solved it.
App start and crash immediately after.
It might have to do with permissions. It seams it’s asking for some type of authorisation. But it’s so fast I can’t read the button text.

This is still an issue with 6.1.9. Any idea when it might be resolved? Anything I can do as a user to help?

I just bought a 2024 Polestar 2 with Pilot and Plus (US spec, software version 3.6.4). I installed ABRP v6.1.9, and tried to open it. It appeared to be launching, but froze with nothing but the gear icon in the top right corner. Then it went pooftah! Not sure what else I can say that might help. Are there any logs I could send to you? I’d really like to have this available in this car, since it was so helpful for my road trip in an ID.4 last summer. Thanks!

Has this been resolved yet as I have had the same problem today?

Thank you for reporting! We are aware of the crash and have fixed it - unfortunately Google decided to reject our update to the app and we are still working to understand why and get them to approve it. We hope that we can get a 6.1.2 release out this week.
