ABRP Android Automotive – two serious regressions after latest update (Volvo EX40)

Since the latest ABRP update, the previous issue with the app icon disappearing has been resolved. Unfortunately, two new serious problems have appeared.

1. Route planning hangs indefinitely after a charging stop

After completing a charging stop, ABRP no longer resumes navigation. Reopening the existing route or entering a new destination results in an endless “Planning” screen.

Restarting the ABRP app does not resolve the problem. Only restarting the Volvo infotainment system restores normal operation.

2. Navigation interface freezes after repeated day/night transitions

While driving through the tunnels around Paris, where the display repeatedly switches between light and dark mode, ABRP partially freezes.

The vehicle position arrow continues to update correctly, but road signs, navigation information and destination details stop updating. The ABRP touchscreen interface becomes completely unresponsive.

Other infotainment functions continue to work normally.

ABRP: Latest update installed via Google Play in the vehicle
Vehicle data connection: Enode / ABRP Automotive

Both issues appeared after the recent update. They significantly affect the reliability of ABRP during long journeys.

Could you investigate these regressions and advise whether a fix or workaround is available?
