2026 Peugeot e-rifter OBD incompatibility

2026 Peugeot e-rifter.

When I connect an OBD dongle (OBDLink CX), my car gives warnings regarding some of the sensors.

I understand it’s because ABRP is polling the car at a fast rate and the car does not like this.

Is this a fair interpretation as to what is going on or is it something else?

If it is the speed of the polling, can this data rate be reduced in software or is there something else I could try to make it work?

Finally, will connecting the OBD cause any damage to the car?
