2025+ Kia PV5 Cargo
Hello ABRP team,
I’m reaching out to share a suggestion regarding A Better Route Planner.
I am the owner of a Kia PV5 Cargo and I regularly use ABRP for trip planning. I recently purchased an OBD-Link device specifically to enable real-time data connectivity with ABRP. Unfortunately, since the Kia PV5 Cargo is not currently supported, the OBD-Link device cannot connect properly to the app.
I would therefore like to suggest:
adding the Kia PV5 Cargo to the list of supported vehicles,
and enabling OBD-Link connectivity support for this model.
As this vehicle is expected to become increasingly popular in the electric commercial vehicle market, I believe this integration would be very valuable for many users.
Thank you for your great work on ABRP and for considering this request.
Kind regards,

Better would be to have a abrp app für Pleos (Software System of the pv5)
Pleos is based on android automotive and has an own app store.
As they have already an android automotive app, a port should be possible

I also have the same problem with the Kia PV5: ABRP cannot connect to an OBDLink CX. It can only connect in ENCODE mode through the Kia app. The problem is that ABRP only has access to the battery SOC, which makes it an unusable route planner, because it is unable to correctly predict the state of charge upon arrival at a charging station.

I have the same car and it is connected directly to the car, so no need of a obd reader anymore 👍😎
