OBD support for Leapmotor B10
Hello, I am very happy to have the Leapmotor B10 profile. I have purchased an OBD2 Vgate iCar Pro with BT4.0. Would it be possible to implement the OBD connectivity of my B10 car with ABRP? Thank you and Merry Christmas!!!

PinnedHi,
We need the OBD PID commands and how to interpret the returned data. Since this is not easily available for most vehicles there is not possibility for us to provide a time estimate.
You can check our telemetry API for relevant properties:
documenter.getpostman.com/view/7396339/SWTK5a8w
Also, you can check our (partially outdated) OBD repository to see what other cars report:
https://www.github.com/iternio/ev-obd-pids
If you find that an existing vehicle profile reads data correctly, please let us know, but please DO NOT keep using the incorrect vehicle model with live data.

Could be that the PIDs we use for an already supported vehicle model could work. Here’s what you can do once you have access to the vehicle and a dongle;
Select the actual model of your car, save it
In vehicle settings, change the model of the saved vehicle to one that you suspect has compatible OBD commands (just any model will not work, it needs to be compatible)
Link the vehicle via OBD (details here; OBD Connection )
Select the correct vehicle model again
After verifying that the data is read correctly (or even partially correctly) notify us that the OBD commands for vehicle model X also works for vehicle model Y.

I tried to change the car but no one returns the car data, the OBD connects, passes the first two steps but when it gets to the third check it gives an error error while handling OBD data commands we could not find SoC in the data car response and obviously it does not connect. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi Katya I was working with PID editor with my B10 profile and I was able to read the soc and interpret the result. However I was not able to test it “live” because there isn't a profile for dongle communication. How can I do it?

Issue with OBD connectivity with the Leapmotor B10
I would like to report what appears to be a bug related to OBD connectivity with the Leapmotor B10. Environment * Device: iPhone * iOS: (latest version) * ABRP Premium: Yes (trial) * ABRP App Version: 7.1.4 (5924) * Vehicle: Leapmotor B10 Design 2025 (65 kWh) * OBD adapter: Vgate iCar Pro 2S BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) Problem The OBD adapter works correctly with Car Scanner and connects immediately to the vehicle. However, ABRP is unable to establish a working OBD connection. What I have already verified * Bluetooth is enabled. * ABRP has Bluetooth permission. * Car Scanner successfully reads live vehicle data from the adapter. * Adapter firmware appears to be working correctly. * I disconnected Car Scanner before attempting ABRP. * I created a Custom Vehicle based on the official Leapmotor B10 Design 2025 profile. * I tested both the official vehicle profile and the custom profile. * I tried OBD Protocol 6, Protocol 7 and Generic. * I restarted the adapter and the application several times. Test PID The only place where I found diagnostic information is Test PIDs. Initialization is reported as successful, but data retrieval fails. The log contains the following message:
error writing init commands
could not get commands for type init from [object Object]
leapmotor:b10:25:67:rwd
This looks like ABRP cannot obtain or load the initialization commands for the Leapmotor B10 profile.
My observations
The adapter itself is working because Car Scanner communicates with the vehicle without any issues.
Therefore I suspect that this is either:
* an issue with the Leapmotor B10 OBD profile,
* missing initialization commands for this vehicle,
* or a bug in the current iOS version of ABRP.
Could you please investigate?
If necessary, I can provide:
* screenshots,
* screen recordings,
* additional logs,
* adapter information,
* vehicle VIN (privately).
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards,
Vladimir

PinnedHello @ABRP User #2828010,
We do not have OBD support for the Leapmotor B10 yet and that is why you are not able to get a stable connection. The easiest way for us to add OBD for a vehicle is for users to test PIDs for the vehicles themselves and give us response on how they work and what changes they make. You can read more about it here: OBD PID Editor and you can make a separate request for OBD integration with the Leapmotor B10.

So, what do we have?
You can connect the Leapmotor B10 to OBD using the already existing Car Profile of the MG MG4 Long Range Luxury.
Why does ABRP just not link the existing Car Profile of the Leapmotor B10 with the working PID Data of the MG4 Long Range 2020-2022?
Isn’t it that esay?
Or is there anything else i can contribute as Premium User to get my Leapmotr B10 connected to ABRP via OBD?
What do we need for ENODE connection?
Tia.
