ABRP default app in IOS

Hi, I don't see ABRP as a choice among default apps for navigation in iPhone iOS 26. Only Maps and Google Maps. Any suggestions?

Cave, Marcel

    Hi @Marcel,

ABRP is in the navigation category in the App Store, but how Apple decides to list us within this category is up to them.

Hi, Thank you for your reply! But my remark was not about the App Store. It’s about picking ABPR as the go to app for apps like Agenda or mail or anything. If you fill in an address in an app and tap on it, the app will chose ABPR to present the route to that address. In IOS 26 I cannot chose ABRP anymore as the go to app, only Apple Maps and Google. Maybe you guys can bring that under attention to your peers at Apple? Or anything else? Thanks again!

I see. Do you mean that you were able to use ABRP in this way prior to upgrading to iOS 26?

No, wasn’t able to use this before. Just to mention which IOS version I was running. Still doesn’t work though, even not in newest version. Would be a very nice feature

+1 to the comment from “ABRP User #506318”. On iOS 26.6.2 (EU), Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Navigation also offers only Apple Maps, Google Maps and (for me) Waze. Please add ABRP. Is there a timeline for this?

ABPR as a standard navigation app in IOS

As a IOS (iPhone) user I want to be able to set ABRP as the standard navigation app in IOS, so the ABRP app will be selected when a navigation action is required. For instance if I note an address in an agenda item and I click on it when the notification appears, IOS will select ABRP instead of the Apple Maps app. Apple states that the specific app will have to fullfill certain requirements, so the action lies with the app builder.
