When calculating trips, is it assumed that the vehicle travels at the posted speed limits?

    In the vehicle settings you have the “reference velocity”. 100% means you go the speed limit. 110% means you usually speed by 10% (120 km/h road → 132 km/h usual speed).

    Yes that is correct. If you want to go slower or faster you can change it in the settings → Vehicle → Maximum speed.
