Wrong no. of charging stations /-Power

Since your last update, on Ansrpid Auto it shows only 2 instead of 16 charging stations and instead of 300kW only 22kW !!! After this stop, the destination SOC was -18% and neither no. of stations nor charging power was displayed :-(((

    Hi @Egbert Metzler,

Do you mean that this happened while driving or when you were searching for chargers on the map? Please provide a screenshot if possible to clarify.

      Hello @Katya Skog.,

this happened while driving and I was not sure, whether I picked the wrong station. So I did the search and route planning again, was pretty sure that I have choosen the right one and again: Instead of the high number of chargingstations I only got 2 - even when in my settings are at least 3 stations.
But the most worrying thing was, that the charging power was not 300kW - it showed me 22kW and this means I have to wait 10 hours!

In addition I checked this location with my EnBW app, and there was the same no. of chargers, what ABRP shows BEFORE planning the route.

After this 1st stop, ABRP didn’t updated the SOC and the arriving SOC at destination. After a while, the current SOC of 70% has been updated, but not the arrical SOC and so ABRP showed me, that I will arrive with a SOC of -18% at the next charging station.

Then I stopped ABRP and used my built-in Skoda Navigation, entering the Charging address.

When you talk about the number of charging stations, do you mean the preference setting for the minimum number of stalls? This is not a hard setting and if we’re not able to fulfill it we will include chargers not meeting the criteria instead of just letting the planning fail.

If the result changed, we must’ve either selected a different charging station, due to changed conditions - such as the vehicle’s range not reaching a better charger anymore, or due to changes in settings no longer allowing the faster charger.

You also describe the SoC not updating, if the OBD connection was broken, this might’ve caused the incorrect predictions and forced us to select a slower charger.

With “number of charging stations / oints“ I mean the displayed number on bottom right of my Car screen via Android Auto or in the app —> see screenshots…

Regarding “SoC not updating“ … when charging is started, I always try to get a coffee while waiting and then of course, the OBD connection will be interrutped but when being back in the car, usually after 1 minute connection is okay and all calculations are ok as well, but this time the -18%, even when the current SOC state was updated, the arrival SOC state has not been updated.

(in the past you got an error message, that this routing plan is not possible to use)

              @Katya Skog
if you want/need, I will drive later and I can make a photot of the car screen.
It looks like the green wheel with a lot of interrupts, Every green section represents 1 charging point and inside the green wheel you can see the charging power, in the screenshot above (from my app or below from my pc 350kW)

Oh, no need to tag me in replies; in this new feedback portal, we do get notified of replies.

The Hohenlohe Nord Ionity location is reported to us, by Ionity themselves, as having 4 CCS stalls, see; https://abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=11718943

What charger were you looking at when we displayed 8/8?

Since the OBD connection depends on Bluetooth connectivity, leaving the car with the linked phone is a possible cause for the dongle disconnecting / not picking up the connection correctly when returning to the vehicle.

If the live data connection was broken, and we did not register the charge we would have to estimate that you would arrive with a lower SoC.

We still do tell you if the plan is no longer viable, but why it didn’t happen in this instance is unclear.
