Workhorse W4CC / W750

Are there synthesis via email but the auto response said to post something here instead. Has anyone successfully found a comparable truck or brand that would be equivalent of a workhorse W4CC or the W750 which are used by FedEx to do local deliveries, at least that is true here in Santa Cruz California.

Here’s the content of the email that explains what we are trying to achieve and would love to see workhorse added as one of the brands. If necessary we can include the configuration details from the W4CC truck since we have one here

original email:

I am an ABRP user and we are taking a workhorse truck to the Sierra next week and really need to have the help of ABRP since there’s a lot of elevation gain and it will also be snowing and icy up there

Workhorse is not an option to choose in ABRP yet. This truck is the w4CC. however FedEx uses these trucks, here, likely the W750, and I am sure they would like to benefit from the abilities of aBRP as a company

Is there any chance that you can add them as an alias or add them as a option somehow in the settings?

Here’s what Perplexity Pro says about this when I asked specifics about this W4cc truck:

“Workhorse vehicles sold in the United States. Workhorse Group is an American company headquartered in Sharonville, Ohio, that designs and manufactures its vehicles domestically at its facility in Union City, Indiana.[4][5][6][7][8]

However, for some of their recent models (W4 CC and W750), Workhorse has partnered with GreenPower Motor Company (a Canadian/American manufacturer based in California) to supply the base EV Star Cab and Chassis, which Workhorse then completes and sells under the Workhorse brand.[9][8][10]

If you're seeing the Maxus EV80with a box truck icon in ABRP and your Workhorse has similar specifications (particularly if it's a commercial delivery van or box truck configuration), it could potentially serve as a temporary stand-in until Workhorse is officially added.

However, the Workhorse trucks (W4 CC, W750, W56, or C-Series) are distinctly different American-designed vehicles with their own specifications.[6][8][13][14][15]

**Bottom line:** Contact ABRP support to request they add your specific Workhorse model, providing as much technical detail as possible about battery capacity, range, and efficiency.
