Want to avoid "Le Shuttle"

Planning trips from home in the UK to mainland Europe, ABRP always wants to take the shuttle - even if I put Dover and Calais as intermediate points. My wife suffers claustrophobia and cannot take the channel tunnel. Can we please have a way to force it to assume we're using the ferry.
