I need to be able to connect the Vinfast VF8 to live data either through a OBD2 dongle or enode. Or explain how the token works?

There’s already a request for this here;
OBD Vinfast VF8
‘Generic token’ is not a ‘ready-to-use’ magic solution, it is an option for developer users who create their own live data projects. We cannot instruct you on how to program your own project. You can read more about our APIs here however;

This vehicle model is already available.
It’s available in Alpha so you cannot connect live data.
