I have also noticed this on my last Yosemite trip about half a year ago. As soon as I include Glacier Point in the route, the ABRP route is nonsensical.
There is no reason for the first charging stop (adding 9%) if I get to the next charger with 29% and the minimum for arriving at chargers is 10%.
I even optimized for fewer charging stops. It is also worth noting that we can get to the highest point of the trip (glacier point) with 45%, so itβs not like the SOC would fall below 0% at some point along the route. and we therefore need the first charging stop.
