I bought a premium subscription to use with my 2017 Chevy Bolt and iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 16.6.2.
The app runs on my phone but isn’t listed in the CarPlay “Home Screen Icons” so, I can’t select it on the car’s display. The USB-A to USB-C cable works with other apps (Waze, Audible, etc.).
I’ve ordered an ODB2 scanner, but it hasn’t arrived yet. I restarted the iPhone but the app still isn’t in the CarPlay list. The payment for the app shows on my bank card statement as a payment to the Apple App Store. And the App Store shows the purchase. “Unit. Subscription Annually $49.99”.
The information I read says the Premium features should be available immediately after purchase. Suggestions?
