Terrible route planning, completely ignoring shortest distnace

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but every time I try to figure out my stops when I try to go from Toronto, ON, Canada to Detroit, MI, US, it takes me to the opposite direction through Buffalo instead of a more direct route. The direct route has more than enough DCFC along the way but still take a route that take more than 3 times as long. Even if I'm already half way to Detroit, and want to navigate form London, ON, it still takes me to the opposite direct and adds 7 hours to my trip instead of again taking a more direct route. Please fix this issue because navigation issues such as this makes this app very untrustworthy, which was why I cancelled my subscription when I noticed this huge issue. I can't even choose it as an alternate route either.

    Holy cow, you're absolutely right! Thank you! That option should be more easily accessible though, the option to avoid tolls or ferries, etc like other navigation apps. I didn't realize that ABRP really goes out of its way to avoid tolls even if it means doubling the time to reach the destination unlike Google Maps, Waze, Sygic, or Here maps.
