Terrible route planning, completely ignoring shortest distnace

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but every time I try to figure out my stops when I try to go from Toronto, ON, Canada to Detroit, MI, US, it takes me to the opposite direction through Buffalo instead of a more direct route. The direct route has more than enough DCFC along the way but still take a route that take more than 3 times as long. Even if I'm already half way to Detroit, and want to navigate form London, ON, it still takes me to the opposite direct and adds 7 hours to my trip instead of again taking a more direct route. Please fix this issue because navigation issues such as this makes this app very untrustworthy, which was why I cancelled my subscription when I noticed this huge issue. I can't even choose it as an alternate route either.
