terrain data

I had a trip yesterday and the car literally ran of of charge on the drive way. Other than not charging enough I added 20km to the distance indicator than I needed. I think it was due to the long uphill sections. Using ABRP it has suggested I would have had 10% left in the car. My question is what terrain data is used so I can try to adjust settings next time I go on a longer trip.
