Switching from 6.2 beta to 7.0

Questions

I’m using an iPhone and have two questions:

  • First how does one move from the 6.2 beta to 7.0? When I go to the App Store I’m not able to download 7.0 directly, do I need to start off by leaving the beta program?

  • Second, is the a beta version of 7.0?

I’d use it occasionally as in only on major version switches :-) I’d use 7.0 more or less daily…

    Hi @Doug Urner,

    You should be able to simply download 7.0 from the App Store (without leaving the TF program), and if you want to switch to the beta, you’ll install it again via the Testflight app. Are you not able to do so? How does the ABRP iOS page look for you?

    There’s no TF version of 7.0 for external testing out yet.

      Got it. The trick is noticing the download button on the App Store…

      I think I was confused in part because I’m used to seeing a release candidate or something like that before the production version of a new release comes out and it looked like something “had to be done” to get off of the 6.x version.

        Agreed, the ‘download’ button for a previously installed app, isn’t as apparent as the regular ‘install’.
