ABRP makes Nissan stop charging

I have connected a better route planner to a Nissan Ariya via Apple CarPlay.

When I have the app running on the CarPlay and I only have the end distinction on the display with soc I will have after the charging I am going to start and the soc of arrival. I use Ionity.

I start the charging on my app and after 1 min the charging stops and on the Ionity app it show the soc from A better route planner. If turn off the car and the start the charging it works.

When I install the connection to Nissan I need to restart my Apple IPhone 16 version 18.1 before A better route planner works again

    Do you mean that the Enode connection breaks?

      No the Enode connection is working, but the app is apparently sending information about the preferred SoC for this charging session to Nissan/Ionity and that why Ionity stops charging. It seems there is an issue between Nissan/Ionity and A Better Route Planner if the App is run in CarPlay. I will test some more.

        ABRP only asks Enode for data from Nissan, we do not send any commands or similar from our side that would result in the charging session stopping. Nor have we asked for capabilities to manage vehicles in this manner.

        Please investigate this some more.

          Please close the case. I found out it’s a Nissan issue.
