Sharing routes

Questions

The FAQ talks about the ability to share routes, but I don’t see any way to do so from the latest iPhone app. I would like to send the route to Google maps. Actually, I’d like to send it directly to my Rivian, but that does not appear to be a feature at this time.

    Hi

    You can share your plan by clicking at Share plan and then you get the options below. If you click at Share to map there is more options.

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to share direct to Rivian cars right now.

      Got it, thanks. I guess I was looking for the typical iOS “share” button at the bottom of the app.

      It would be nice to be able to send the route directly to the Rivian though.

      You can share to Google maps, and then “send to Rivian” from Google Maps.

      However, that extra step looses ABRP data such as desired charge level at each stop. So, essentially, I have to manually transcribe the route into the Rivian navigation program. That feels so last century 🙁

      Since both Google Maps and Apple Maps on iOS have the “send to Rivian” feature, I’d expect ABRP to have that as well. If it’s the iOS Rivian app that’s the hold up, let us know and we can encourage Rivian to add that.
