Scaling of map

A major problem with the current version is that the scale of the map during navigation can only be changed for a few seconds. The default scale is very large. Allowing the changed scale to remain would make the app really useful. So, I always need to go to another app to see the region, I want to see.

This problem is the main reason, I will probably stop my subscription.

    Hi

    This is not a bug. We do have other users that have made a request about a different zoom in the app. You can search for the posts under Feature requests and add a vote.

      thanks for the reply. I did not assume this being a bug.

      It is just a feature which shcould be included: When you change the scale in CarPlay manually, the final view sessting should be persistent. That should be reletively simple in the software since the change scale option is already implemented.

      This feature is really essential for a navigation app in order to orient yourself in different situations. I have the impression that on the mobile app, it is working exectly like this - but not in CarPLay.

      An outomatic scaling based on speed might be also considered -but this is nice to have, the other is essential.
