Registering an app for ABRP OAuth2 — what’s the right contact?

Hi,

I’ve built an Android app, Nexiter Live, that sends live BMW and MINI telemetry from BMW CarData to ABRP through the Telemetry API. It’s in open testing on Google Play, and today users connect it to ABRP by pasting their generic token by hand.

I’d like to replace that step with ABRP’s OAuth2 flow. An earlier answer here said to email contact@iternio.com with the app name and redirect URL, so I did that on 7 October:

The request became ticket ABRP-12516. It’s still at “Waiting for support”, and the auto-reply says that inbox only handles subscription and account issues. So I’m not sure it reached the right people.

Is email still the right route for OAuth2 client registration, or is there a developer contact I should use instead? Happy to give any details that would help.

Thanks,
Micke

    Hello @ABRP User #1475724,

You have sent the information to the correct email address. The reason you may have not received a response is due to a high workload currently that Bo has and he provides the API keys to users with requests for their apps and such. I am not able to give a time estimate of when he will be able to help you and it may take a while before you get a response at the current moment due to many other priorities that we have. I hope you can understand this from our POV and that an answer can take longer than expected now.
