You have a fixed range calculater which is not realistic for my Nissan Leaf. You should be able to edit the range to give better route planning for charging?

I think I understand. Not sure about the live data bit, does this mean I have to buy Leaf Spy to add to your app with an OB2 dongle in the car at all times?

For the Nissan Leaf models, LeafSpy should be the only option for connecting via an OBD. However, we support connecting via Enode as well for some Leaf models, see here:
When you plan a route your app assumes the range of your battery, which for me has proved not to be correct my range is lower than what your app calculates so it would be good if when planning a route you can imput your own known range to give better planning for charging stops?
I hope you can see what I mean or show me how to imput your own known battery range?

We have no input for a range value, as this varies depending on the standardization type, and external factors, etc.
Instead we use what we refer to as ‘Reference Consumption’, an individual base value for each vehicle model in ABRP. You can read more about this here: Reference consumption
You can manually tweak the value slightly if you’re not using a live data source to calibrate it automatically. But I would rather suggest to check your settings for ‘Maximum speed’ and ‘Relative speed’ if our predictions are generally very off.
These settings can be found in:
Settings → Vehicle → Drive profile

I am using Leaf Spy Pro with a Vgate dongle as recommended
I am trying to connect my Nissan Leaf to live data. I get so far, then it asks choose your dongle, and that's where it stops me. I get a list to choose from, but no idea which one I have attached screenshots. Maybe you can help me. Or step-by-step instructions I am using a Samsung phone.
I want to connect to live data when I go on my holiday to Devon to help me with calculations etc.
