Previously working OBD Dongle not connecting
A recently previously working dongle no longer connects.
Cleared connection from phone and ABRP. Connected dongle - seen by phone (and works perfectly in Car Scanner App) - seen by ABRP but fails to connect within 2-3 seconds when trying to link.

Hyundai Kona 2022, OBD = NEXAS NexLink (worked prefectly until the ABRP update 4 days ago…). No errors just fails to connect anymore

Please provide a screenshot of the error message given when you try to link with this dongle. Or does all three checks pass with green marks and you still cannot connect?

The second stage as above fails after 2-3 seconds Numerous tries of clicking retry, sometimes unplug dongle then retry process from link menu all methods fail at the stage above. The dongle is working as car scanner connects and displays data correctly. The update to 5.7.4 (3335) still has the same result

This should mean that the dongle itself doesn’t support a BLE connection and therefore cannot be used with ABRP.
But since you say you’ve used it before with ABRP, have you made sure to disconnect any other app (such as carscanner) prior to attempting to link it to ABRP?

Worked perfectly until you updated the app build to, I think it was 3332. Your error not the OBD dongle. There are plenty of other complaints about the same issue all after that update

Version 5.7.5 (3343) still does not work after 25 minutes of trying various permutations in selecting the previously working dongle….

Still fail to connect after app update to 5.7.4 (3338). Exactly the same as before. Gets to BLE connection status - tries for 2-3 seconds then immediately fails.
Not acceptable for a paid premium app…. must do better ABRP…
