Preferred routes?

I created a plan from Eureka, CA to Grants Pass, OR and for some odd reason the app tried to plan heading inland (east) away from main hwy 101 up thru Crescent city continuing north along the coast quite a ways then finally east to Grants pass, lengthening the 3.5 hr drive to 4.5 hrs, why??? Also then driving north from Grants Pass towards Portland on I-5 its choice of Tesla supercharger was the old Harrisburg charger (8) stalls vs the new 250w Tesla Supercharger a bit further north (18 stalls!) in Halsey, OR that just opened in May. The Tesla navigating software has gotten so good not sure the value in ABRP that I had last year on same road trip
