Pre Conditionning

How should I use ABRP for my trip in an F150 Lightning? I want to use ABRP on Android Auto for the SoC and the charging recommandation, but I have to add the destination on Google Map for the traffic and the preconditionning. The problem is that when I do that, it removes the itinary from ABRP. What should I do? Or how can I get the best from those two apps?

    Hi @Patrick Carignan,

    At the moment ABRP is not capable of controlling the vehicle in this manner and pre-condition the battery. Other apps, such as those by the platform owner may have such permissions.

    You can always share the plan to Google Maps, but in order to have the battery pre-conditioned, charger locations will have to be recognised as chargers and this might not happen automatically.

    Some vehicles do have a button for manual activation of battery pre-conditioning, and if yours does, all you’ll have to do is remember to press it as you near the charging stop.
