We need the OBD PID commands and how to interpret the returned data. Since this is not easily available for most vehicles there is not possibility for us to provide a time estimate.
If you find that an existing vehicle profile reads data correctly, please let us know, but please DO NOT keep using the incorrect vehicle model with live data.

Could be that the PIDs we use for an already supported vehicle model could work. Here’s what you can do once you have access to the vehicle and a dongle;
Select the actual model of your car, save it
In vehicle settings, change the model of the saved vehicle to one that you suspect has compatible OBD commands (just any model will not work, it needs to be compatible)
Link the vehicle via OBD (details here; OBD Connection )
Select the correct vehicle model again
After verifying that the data is read correctly (or even partially correctly) notify us that the OBD commands for vehicle model X also works for vehicle model Y.
I would like to request official OBD support for the Porsche Macan Electric (Macan 4, PPE platform).
At the moment, the vehicle is not properly supported for live OBD data. I have tested with a Vgate iCar Pro BLE dongle. While the dongle connects, ABRP does not receive consistent live data (SOC, battery power, voltage, etc.). I also tried using the Taycan profile as suggested in some discussions, but it does not reliably read the correct values.
Since Macan Electric is now widely delivered, proper OBD integration would be extremely valuable for accurate route planning and live SOC tracking.
If needed, I am willing to help test beta PID configurations or provide logs to assist with implementation.
Thank you for your support and for considering adding full Macan Electric OBD compatibility.

Hello,
I have a Porsche Macan 4 (EV), but there is no dedicated Macan 4 profile available in the app.
Since Macan 4 was not listed, I selected the Porsche Taycan profile and tried to connect using that instead.
Results:
Initialization commands: Successful
Keep-alive command: Successful
Data retrieval commands: Failed
The OBD device connects to the vehicle successfully, but when attempting to read PIDs, no data is returned.
OBD device: iCar Pro 2 (BLE)
Is the Macan 4 using a different protocol than Taycan?
Does it require a specific vehicle profile or custom PID configuration?
Has anyone successfully connected a Macan 4 EV and retrieved live data?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

PinnedHi,
We need the OBD PID commands and how to interpret the returned data. Since this is not easily available for most vehicles there is not possibility for us to provide a time estimate.
You can check our telemetry API for relevant properties:
documenter.getpostman.com/view/7396339/SWTK5a8w
Also, you can check our (partially outdated) OBD repository to see what other cars report:
https://www.github.com/iternio/ev-obd-pids
If you find that an existing vehicle profile reads data correctly, please let us know, but please DO NOT keep using the incorrect vehicle model with live data.
