Option of More Stops!
Recent versions of ABRP have dropped the option of more stops, now only offering Optimal and 2 measures of less.
What happened to more?
Most motoring organisations recommend a driving break every 2 hours, yet the last trip I planned using the Optimal setting, created legs of 3 hours, WAY more than desirable, and there was no way, other than manually, to shorten the legs.
Even with the older version of ABRP, I still found myself wishing for a Setting like ‘Preferred driving leg duration’, so I could designate 2 hours driving stints.

Hi
If you go to the settings and Charging you can change Minimum arrival charge for the charger and then you can stop more often. That\s the only option we have now for more stops.

This is not a great solution as you will most likely be charging to higher SOCs, which is not good for the battery. You’ve eliminated the better option. As a 60yr old, I want to stop more frequently than every 2+ hours, but I don’t want to degrade my battery faster just because you were trying to ‘simplify’ the UI. This was a poor decision.

That’s a messy solution to a problem created by moving away from software functionality that worked fine… well fineish!

Linda,
This remains a real annoyance.
How can you drop the ability to plan trip legs more in compliance with international motoring organisation recommendations and then offer a messy workaround as a serious solution?
You HAD a solution that met the needs of everyone from those with 1000klm to 200klm bladders and you dropped the latter end of the spectrum. Brutal.
I’ve seen trips with legs well over 3 hours, which is just crazy.
Please reconsider!
