Opel Frontera Electric Extended Range – Car Scanner Live SoC Freezes and ABRP Uses Stale Battery Data

Hello ABRP Support Team,
I am using an Opel Frontera Electric Extended Range with ABRP on an iPhone, integrated with Car Scanner for live vehicle data.
I am experiencing an intermittent issue where the battery State of Charge (SoC) stops updating in both Car Scanner and ABRP. The issue occurs randomly, and the SoC sometimes appears to remain stuck at an incorrect value.
When this happens:
● Car Scanner’s BMS State of Charge value appears to freeze.
● ABRP also stops receiving updated SoC data.
● ABRP’s current battery percentage and estimated arrival SoC become unreliable.
● Route planning and remaining energy estimates may no longer reflect the vehicle’s actual battery state.
● Other OBD values, such as voltage or power, may continue updating while the SoC appears stuck.
The applications are integrated and configured to share live data, but the issue still occurs intermittently.
Could you please investigate whether this could be related to the Car Scanner live-data integration, BMS SoC PID handling, stale data caching, or an iOS background execution issue?
Please also advise whether there is a recommended workaround or a known issue affecting the Opel Frontera Electric Extended Range.
I can provide an event log and additional screenshots if needed.
Thank you.

Hello @ABRP User #2752893,
Have you checked the SoC data in Car Scanner and observed whether it continues updating after reconnecting to ABRP?
