Can abrp include Paulina Lake Campground?

Can abrp include Paulina Lake Campground, about 36 miles east of La Pine, Oregon, in its route planning? Some apps do, abrp does not.

Thank you,

Joseph Patrick Quinn

    Hi @Joseph P Quinn,

    Do you mean as a charger? If so, you can read more about How to have new chargers added to ABRP

      Dear Katya,

      Rui Oliveria referred me to Open Maps to add the road I want to ABRP. I signed up to Open Maps, but cannot seem to understand how it works or how to go from it to ABRP. So, does ABRP require paying members to add routes to its app? And if they cannot, then that is just too bad for them? Sigh.

        Do you mean that you’re not seeing the location/address in search results or that the road is entirely missing on the map?

        @Rui Oliveira is correct in that openstreetmap.org is one of the data sources we use. It is an open-source map that any user with local knowledge about roads and places can edit and update.

        While we do want to cater to our paying users, I believe you can see how we, sitting on the other side of the globe, editing roads, probably wouldn’t have the best outcome (or be aligned with how OSM is intended to be used;

        If you’d like to know more there’s a lot of documentation here;

      The problem is if you search up Paulina Lake Campground and select it as destination ABRP then set the destination at the town La Pine which is several miles west of the lake.
      Even selecting the Paulina Lake Lodge doesn’t have ABRP set the destination properly.

      Clearly a bug in how ABRP handle this.

        Dear Katya,

        When I enter East Lake Lodge as an added stop, ABRP takes one right there from LaPine. This takes one right past the campground. So, nothing amiss with the app, just with my old head! Anyhow, thanks for your help and for your patience!

        All the best,
