Manual Zoom Setting Is Overridden

In 3D view, if you change the zoom setting manually using the plus and minus buttons — say to getting a better view of the traffic ahead, or to visualize upcoming turns — the zoom level reverts back to the default by magic (without manually changing it). It seems like that shouldn’t happen, or if there is a use case for that, maybe an option to maintain a manual zoom setting could be added.

    The zoom always goes back to the default after a while. We have an ongoing discussion about how this can be changed.

      The default “after a while” seems too short. Could it be a setting?

      Personally, I’d appreciate being able to set the default zoom level, and also to have some options for when ABRP reverts back to the default. I think most of the time I’d like it to do it either 1) never, or 2) when there is active (blue background) guidance. Options along those lines would be nice.
