Making ABRP able to calculate with 110% SoC (Zero Motorcycles)

Questions

On Zero Motorcycles 100% means usually 90% to ensure battery health. on a 17,4kWh battery it's 15kWh. If you want to utilize the full charge you have to enable it on the motorcycle as “extended range”. The SoC then reaches 110%. I ise a dongle to send this information to the ABRP API but it won't give me accurate calculations until the SoC reaches 100%. Is it possible ABRP can work with 110% SoC?

    What kind of live data are you connected to with the motorcycle? We do not have Enode and OBD connection for the motorcycle.

    Please specify which Zero motorcycle you are using in ABRP.

      I am using a custom OBD dongle that reads out the data and sends it to an app which sends it to the API. I am using a Zero SR/S MY23 via the beta feature of being able to edit the old Zero models that are available. Zero reports the SoC as 110% even in the display.

        Since you have a custom OBD dongle, it would be viable for you to make own changes to the PIDs. You will be able to make changes to the SoC and test that it works like you want it, let me know if you need more help with it.

          But I am not directly connected to the dongle. It transfers via Bluetooth to an app we made and pushes it to the API. Does the PID editor still work with that?

            What is this app that you have made? Do you have your own values in there that the OBD reads?

            If you are not connect directly to the dongle, what kind of connection do you have in the motorcycle?

              It's an app that the motorcycle association I am in programmed. It's not public. The dongle is a raspberry pi that reads the OBD data. To keep it simple, would it be possible to let ABRP calculate with 110% or not? It's not that important but every time I use the extended range (only before big tours) my first stops are “undercalculated”. If it's too much change in the code, then I am fine closing this

                Unfortunately, due to us only calculating vehicles with 100% SoC, we cannot make the change of 110% for one vehicle.

                  Yea understandable. We might have to change our code then to basically transfer 100% to ABRP.
