EV Connect - Newk's Eatery, Magee, MS

Report a Charger

There is no EV station at the location in Magee, MS and there is no business that’s listed there either. Fortunately we charged in Jackson even though this app suggested we charge in Magee, but we would’ve been almost out of battery. There’s no where within range close to our route so are going back to Jackson to charge and take a different route. I no longer trust this app.

    Do you mean that you’re reporting an inaccurate charging location?

    I’ve just checked chargers in Magee, MS and we list this one:

    Or did we direct you to a different charger that was closed/removed?

      If the charger was there, it was not at the location we were directed to by the app and the business that was mentioned to be at the same location was also not there. We drove around the area looking for it, but could not find it.

        I understand, please let me know if you have more information to provide about the charger you were directed to (or the business).

        Right now, the above-linked charger is the only one we list in Magee, MS, and given that we’ve received data indicating it as operational as recently as today, I don’t think it was this location you were directed to.

          That’s odd because we were using the ABRP app. I looked at another app when we couldn’t find it that indicated the same location but with a different business. Guess there was some sort of glitch perhaps in my phone’s navigation, if that can happen.

            We do update chargers every day, so technically, it is possible for this to change from day to day.

            However, I’ve had a closer look at the charger you potentially was directed to (https://abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=1774186378).

            It is placed on the highway, which doesn’t seem very correct. Google Maps has it placed in the same location:

            I’ve checked some other sources, and I would believe that this charger should be located by ‘Newk’s Eatery’. It was opened back in October, so it's relatively new. Should be located “Between Newk’s Eatery and Zaxby’s”.

            I’ve had this reported to our data provider so that they can have it corrected.
