2025 Lynk&Co 02 – request for correction
Hello,
I would like to report multiple inconsistencies in the vehicle model currently used for the Lynk & Co 02 (electric) in ABRP. The existing parameters appear to be incorrect and lead to significantly inaccurate routing and charging predictions.
Below are the key issues:
1) Drivetrain configuration
ABRP currently lists the vehicle as FWD.
This is incorrect.
The Lynk & Co 02 EV is based on the Geely SEA platform and is available as:
RWD (single motor)
There is no FWD variant.
2) Battery chemistry
ABRP lists the battery as LFP.
For the European “More” version, the battery is NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt).
This affects charging behavior, cold weather performance, and usable charging strategy.
3) Battery capacity
Correct values:
Gross: ~69 kWh
Usable: ~66 kWh
Please clarify and ensure ABRP uses usable capacity consistently.
4) Charging performance
ABRP currently assumes ~125 kW peak.
Real specification: up to 150 kW DC.
More importantly, the charging curve should reflect SEA platform behavior (high peak, early taper around ~55–60% SoC).
5) Consumption model
The current default (~180 Wh/km) appears too optimistic for route planning.
Real-world data from EV databases and user reports suggest:
~140–170 Wh/km mixed driving
~190–230 Wh/km highway (110–120 km/h)
The reference consumption at 110 km/h should be closer to ~190–200 Wh/km.
6) Suggested baseline alignment
Given the shared platform, a more accurate starting point would be to align the model with vehicles such as:
Zeekr X
Volvo EX30
and then adjust mass, efficiency, and battery parameters accordingly.
Impact
These discrepancies result in:
Incorrect SoC predictions at arrival
Suboptimal charging stop planning
Unrealistic range estimation
Request
Please review and update the Lynk & Co 02 model to reflect:
Correct drivetrain (RWD/AWD)
NMC battery chemistry
Accurate usable battery capacity
Realistic charging curve
Corrected consumption model
I’m happy to provide additional real-world data once the vehicle is in use.
Thank you for your work on ABRP.
