ABRP's proposed route is not the fastest

If I ask for a journey from Eastern Paris to Zurich in Switzerland, ABRP offers me a 100% freeway journey lasting a total of 8hrs 45mins, including 5 recharges. If I ask to go via Vesoul - which shortens the journey by 100km and avoids freeways in part - ABRP announces 4 recharges and 7h50 minutes in all. So my shortcut via Vesoul saves me 55 minutes and money - because there's 1 recharge less. Why doesn't ABRP offer me this route via Vesoul from the outset? Does it want to prevent me from driving calmly through the beautiful Jura countryside while saving time and money? I drive a Peugeot e2008 from 2021.
