Know slow chargers don’t account for extra time

MidAmerican/Shell chargers are know to only give 75kwh max even though they are rated for 150kw Chademo/CCS. ABR planner doesn’t appear to take that into account when routing. This doubles the time at these chargers for most vehicles and makes the route planning invalid.
Maybe I should put this into feature request instead of bug - if a charger can’t provide full kW for a 400v car, then display that by the charger info and adjust times accordingly. This is the first time I’ve run into 150kW chargers that can only provide 75kW, but that is a big difference in time and there are many of these “Shell Recharge” stations in the Midwest.
Early Casey’s [Shell Recharge] in Early Iowa is a good example. abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=160172921

Hi @Derson,
This charger would normally be able to supply 150, but since the power is shared between the two available plugs, it’ll be halved when two vehicles are charging there.
At the moment there’s not really any good way for us to handle these chargers but for charging locations that do have live status and are reported as occupied we will calculate the power as being shared and the charging time as longer.

I understand lower power when sharing, but the problem is that these chargers are Amperage limited. Chargers limited to 200amps need to be labeled differently as they are way slower than ABRP predicts!

Got it! We do use the amp value when calculating the actual speed in planning and looking at this charger we get about 60 kW for the CCS outlet then.
