Kia EV3 models - European market
The current kia ev3 models are wrong. the models are currently as follows:
- Light FWD
- Wind FWD
- Wind GT AWD
I think these might be EV6 or EV5 settings? Im not sure exactly
It should be the following:
58,3kWh battery
- Air
- Plus
- Plus Advanced
81,4kWh Battery
- Air
- Plus
- Plus advanced
- GT-Line
- GT-Plusline
Please let me know which information you need to get all the settings in the app correct. I would love to use abrp in my new kia ev3.
If possible please enable the setting for the obd dongle. This setting is currently not available, i’ve seen a video of someone using the dongle to read the ev3 though. (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlicPen0A_4 ) the use of an dongle is available (in the abrp app) for the ev9 and ev6, which are the same brands.

I can see that there are different trims for the dutch market, however the ones you’re referring to do not exist in the US, Germany, UK etc.
Key things here are however;
Usable battery size
Drivetrain
Charging
For the existing models;
Light FWD = Standard Range
Wind FWD = Long Range
Wind GT AWD = Long Range AWD
I can see that the 11 kW onboard charger seem to be optional with the ‘plus’ trim, so perhaps we need to adjust the standard range version to have an optional 11 kW onboard charger if this is not standard for all trims?

The models @Colin wiltjer references are the right models for germany and the european (EU) market. And there is no EV3 AWD model.

That explains it.
I personally have the 58.3kWh plus advanced model. It has a 414km range instead of the 436km range because the 19 inch wheels.
The average for 17 inch is 14,9 kWh/100km
The average for 19 inch is 15,8 kWh/100km
I have driven the last few times with the light FWD, high speeds, low speeds and combined. but it always is a couple of percent off to what it said when i entered the destination.
Would an Obd dongle make it more accurate when using the light fwd setting?
11kW is standard to all trims. Plus has Vehicle-2-Load/grid prepared as well but this doesn’t change the charge speeds.

Names and configurations of the trims vary from country to country. The currently available choices on the app don’t give the user any info about the battery size.

Kia EV3 Air Long Range
The Kia EV3 currently only shoes Light, Wind and the Wind GT. There seems to be no differentiation for the short range or long range models. Could this be included?

The heat pump or no heat pump changes the charging time I want this to be added somehow
