Hi Linda, the bug reporter probably selected the i5 eDrive40 because that has the same battery model/capacity as the i4 eDrive 40. It’s a bigger car with worse range but should be pretty close.
The i4 battery value was correct in ABRP (80 something kWh) until a few weeks or months ago. I planned quite a few trips with it. It changed to the incorrect value recently. Every model year is affected, since 2022. It seems to me it was overwritten by a database update.
Here’s the web app’s i4 selection screen. eDrive40 and M50 has the same battery and it’s ~80 kWh usable capacity.
