How Often are OSM Updates Picked Up?

There are a number of problems with the speed limit display in ABRP and also with insufficient information in the route guidance (for example a turn without the name of the road or exit information) that I think are, at least in part, due to missing or erroneous tags in OSM.

How long would I need to wait to see if an edit to OSM resolves the problem?
