OBD support for 2025 Honda Prologue EX
I’m trying to connect my new Honda Prologue EX 2025 with an OBD2 BLE dongle but it seems all I can use is OTA through Enode… which sleeps more than my 19 years old kid after a night out !
Any chance we could use the OBD2 method?
I’m using a Vlinker MC+ dongle which works fine through Car Scanner
- What type of vehicle connection is this?

PinnedHi,
We need the OBD PID commands and how to interpret the returned data. Since this is not easily available for most vehicles there is not possibility for us to provide a time estimate.
You can check our telemetry API for relevant properties:
documenter.getpostman.com/view/7396339/SWTK5a8w
Also, you can check our (partially outdated) OBD repository to see what other cars report:
https://www.github.com/iternio/ev-obd-pids
If you find that an existing vehicle profile reads data correctly, please let us know, but please DO NOT keep using the incorrect vehicle model with live data.

Could be that the PIDs we use for an already supported vehicle model could work. Here’s what you can do once you have access to the vehicle and a dongle;
Select the actual model of your car, save it
In vehicle settings, change the model of the saved vehicle to one that you suspect has compatible OBD commands (just any model will not work, it needs to be compatible)
Link the vehicle via OBD (details here; OBD Connection )
Select the correct vehicle model again
After verifying that the data is read correctly (or even partially correctly) notify us that the OBD commands for vehicle model X also works for vehicle model Y.

Hi Katya. I’m interested in more guidance on this as well - connecting an OBD2 dongle to ABRP for my 2024 Honda Prologue Elite. We know the Blazer EV works and it should be identical to the Prologue. My ABRP Premium Enode connection (to iPhone) stopped providing an accurate reading mid-December 2025. I CAN get a good Enode connection from the Google Built-In Android App, but it is laggy, buggy and lacks Driver’s Display and other features, and refuses to allow location searches frequently. My HondaLink connection works but Enode can’t read my live SoC. Any help with an OBD2 connection would be appreciated.

I’m not sure what is needed, but the vehicle has a sister car in the Blazer and Equinox EV, as the Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX are both functionally the same car. The two Chevy models have the ‘Automotive’ (android?) connection, as where the Honda/Acura models do not and only allow the enode or ‘dev’ connection.
Do they not support the same ‘automotive’ methods as the Chevy models? Then with that the OBD2 method wouldn’t be required for a more live connection?
