End SOC

Questions

So quite often I’m ending a journey at a location with no charging. I would like to be able to charge my EV before arrival. However, ABRP doesn’t like or won’t work out a route with a high arrival SOC.

    Hi @Larry Stoter,

    We recommend editing your Destination arrival SoC for this. If this does not make it work, there are likely not enough chargers along the route. Please provide a link to the plan where this occurs. To do this;

    1. Plan the trip in ABRP

    2. Click/tap: ‘Share plan’

    3. Click/tap: ‘Share ABRP link’

    4. Paste the URL here

    ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please exclude private addresses and the use of ‘my position’, home, work, etc., from the plan you post here publicly.

    You can just set a high arrival SoC on the settings (destination, not charging).

    Or, what I recommend, is to plan to return trips. Plan your trip not from your location to destination, but plan location-destination-location (there’s even a button for that). It will ensure that you arrive your destination with enough charge to get back home or a charger, as required.
